Graduation Requirements
In accordance with requirements of the California Department of Education §51224.5, a state-certified high school diploma will be issued to all students of Insight School of California – North Bay (“ISNB”) who meet the following graduation requirements.

Although students who enroll in ISNB after the start of their freshman year are eligible to transfer credits earned towards their graduation requirements, they must complete at least twenty-five (25) credits at ISNB before being eligible to earn a diploma.
Additionally, students must achieve proficiency level or higher on the math and reading sections of the CAHSEE to be eligible for a state certified diploma.
Governing Law:
51225.3. States that no pupil shall receive a diploma of graduation from high school who, while in grades 9 to 12, inclusive, has not completed the minimum required courses of study.
51224.5. States the adopted course of study for grades 7 to 12, inclusive, shall include algebra as part of the mathematics area of study pursuant to subdivision (f) of Section 51220. A pupil who, prior to enrollment in grade 9, completes Algebra I, has met the requirement, but the pupil must still complete two courses in mathematics while enrolled in grades 9 to 12, inclusive, as specified in Section 51225.3.
